From September 28 to October 6, the " Expanding Beyond The Walls II: Sculptures In Open Space" will take place at the Clock Tower Square. As part of the Istanbul Cultural Road Festival, this exhibition, held in collaboration with Kolekta, showcases the sculptures and installations of 9 artists, inviting art enthusiasts to explore their works.
Public spaces, where freedoms and differences can come together within the urban fabric, have the potential not only to shape the city but also to transform society. These are areas of communication that reflect people's behavior and ways of thinking. Art, with its potential to bring creative dynamism to the city amidst the routine flow of life, creates a space where boundaries are transcended. The open-air spaces, where the studios of artists or the galleries, museums, and exhibition venues lack walls, not only erase physical boundaries but also remove social barriers, creating places for participation, dialogue, and accessible experiences.
