Handcrafted local products made by women from the earthquake-affected region will return to the Nahıl New Year Shopping Festival at Clock Tower Square from December 17th–21th. 

Organized by Nahıl, a social enterprise of the Foundation for the Support of Women’s Work (KEDV), the festival aims to support women’s cooperatives and women producers especially from the earthquake zone. A total of 101 women’s cooperatives from 44 provinces will present and sell their products. This year, the festival features a specially curated selection designed to highlight women’s cooperatives and women-led initiatives that gain strength through production. 

Alongside producers from the earthquake-affected region, cooperatives from across Türkiye will bring their handcrafted, locally rooted products directly to visitors, creating both economic and social opportunities for women to reach broader audiences. The remaining 18 stands will feature women-led enterprises supported through various KEDV projects. 

The festival will offer a wide selection of handcrafted New Year gifts, textiles, accessories, jewelry, home textiles, ceramics, geographical–indication products, and natural food items — all created by the skilled hands of women.
