On October 29th, Galataport Istanbul once again celebrates Republic Day along the Bosphorus with a vibrant program filled with concerts, exhibitions, workshops, and unique experiences at Paket Postanesi’s “Cumhuriyet’in İzinde” series.

Celebrating its 20th anniversary, the Doğuş Children’s Symphony Orchestra (DCSO) marks the 102nd year of the Republic with a special concert series. Violinists Alican Süner, Hasan Gökçe Yorgun, İdil Yunkuş, and Sesim Bezdüz—all alumni who have since built international careers—return to the stage under the baton of Prof. Rengim Gökmen. 

MSGSÜ Istanbul Painting and Sculpture Museum: Traces of the Republic in Turkish Painting

This special exhibition reimagines Atatürk’s perfume “Soir de Paris”, recreated as Hatıra Blue by 16.10 Istanbul. Visitors are invited to step into a recreation of Atatürk’s study, experiencing the scent and atmosphere of the late 1930s through a multi-sensory design.

Read Me by My Name: A Story of Republic Women – Arbil Çelen Yuca
